Supporting Little Learners & Growing Dreamers

At Prodigal Farm Ministries, we believe every child deserves to step into the school year feeling confident, equipped, and seen. This year, our Back‑to‑School Collection Drive is focused on blessing homeless families, low‑income households, and young adults who are courageously continuing their education despite significant hardship.
Many of the students we meet — from preschoolers to high‑schoolers, and even college‑age young adults — are doing their best to learn, grow, and dream with very limited resources. Some are living in shelters. Some are couch‑surfing. Some are part of families simply trying to survive. Yet every single one of them carries God‑given potential worth nurturing.
That’s where this drive comes in. We are collecting items that help students feel prepared, valued, and hopeful:
- Backpacks
- School supplies
- Gently used clothing
- Gently used shoes
If you feel led to give, please consider donating: pens, pencils, coloring utensils, folders, notebooks, binders (all sizes), composition books, lunch boxes, and other school essentials.
Every item you donate becomes a small act of dignity — a reminder to a child or young adult that they matter, that they are not forgotten, and that their future is worth investing in.
Scripture reminds us of this calling:
“Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.” — Psalm 82:3
“Whoever welcomes one such child in My name welcomes Me.” — Matthew 18:5
When we care for children, we reflect the heart of Jesus. When we lift up struggling families, we participate in God’s restoration story.
Thank you for helping us love these students well — with compassion, generosity, and the kind of hope that lasts.
