Establish Our First Sober Living Residence
Recovery does not happen in a vacuum — it happens in a home, in a community, in a place where someone can finally exhale. In 2026, PFM Nassau is committed to securing and opening the first sober living facility in Nassau County under our ministry’s umbrella. This is not just a house. It is a threshold — the line between a life unraveling and a life rebuilt. We will identify the property, build the structure of accountability and discipleship around it, and open a door that our community has needed for years.

Launch a Formal Career Development Pathway
A person leaving addiction needs more than sobriety — they need a future they can see themselves in. In 2026, PFM Nassau will formalize our Life Skills and Career Development program into a structured, repeatable pathway: financial literacy, resume building, job placement support, and hands-on vocational training rooted in dignity and purpose. We will partner with local employers, churches, and trade programs to build a pipeline that moves people from recovery into livelihood — because a paycheck is not just money, it is identity restored.

Grow Our Donor and Sponsorship Base by 50%
Vision without resources is just a dream. In 2026, PFM Nassau will intentionally and aggressively grow our community of financial partners — individual donors, local businesses, churches, and grant-funding organizations — by at least 50%. We will tell our story with greater clarity and courage, pursue grant opportunities at the state and national level, and build relationships with sponsors who share our conviction that Nassau County deserves a ministry that goes all the way. The mission does not shrink when the need grows — we expand to meet it.

2025–2026 | Foundation
Roots Down Deep
Building the infrastructure that everything else depends on. Formalizing our 501(c)3 operations, launching our Celebrate Recovery chapter, establishing community outreach rhythms, and activating our farm and animal foster program as ministry tools. Launching the Life Skills framework and identifying our first sober living property.
2027 | First Structures
Opening the First Sober Living Facility
PFM Nassau’s first residential sober living home opens its doors in Nassau County — a structured, Christ-centered environment where men and/or women in recovery can live in community, pursue employment, and grow in discipleship. Intake procedures, house rules, spiritual accountability, and case management protocols are fully operational.
2027–2028 | Career Pipeline
Life Skills & Career Development Program Launch
A fully structured career development curriculum launches alongside the sober living program. Participants move through modules in financial literacy, resume building, interview preparation, and vocational training — including hands-on automotive skills and farm-based agriculture. Partnerships with local employers and workforce development agencies create real job placement pathways.
2028–2029 | Expansion
Second Facility & Women’s Programming
As demand grows, PFM Nassau expands its residential capacity with a second sober living facility — with a focus on women and mothers in recovery. Dedicated women’s programming, trauma-informed care, and childcare integration address gaps that standard recovery programs overlook. The Women’s Ministry deepens its discipleship curriculum and peer mentorship network.
2029–2030 | Community Hub
The Prodigal Farm Community Campus
The farm becomes more than animals and crops — it becomes a functioning ministry campus. A community market, workshop space, garden, and gathering facility serve both residents and the broader Nassau County community. The campus becomes a destination for volunteer workdays, discipleship retreats, and community events that bring the whole county together around a shared mission.
Beyond the Horizon
Five years is a chapter, not the whole story. PFM Nassau’s long-term vision is a fully self-sustaining ministry campus in Nassau County — a place where someone in the depths of addiction can walk in and find not just a program, but a family. A place that produces graduates who go on to lead, serve, and start their own ministries. A place where the farm feeds the community, the community funds the mission, and the mission changes the county.
